Product Marketing Manager
We are looking for a rock-star Product Marketing Manager with a strong drive and energy to lead the strategic planning, product development, and support the go-to-market strategy for the product. In this role, you must be comfortable with solving complex problems, taking on big challenges, juggling between strategic thinking, and tactical and detailed execution.
Your responsibilities in this position:
- Identify market requirements for current and planned products through client interactions, market research
- Define and drive product roadmaps working with stakeholders including Engineering, and Sales
- Define product pricing based on market research, customers interactions, competitive analysis
- Drive and complete projects independently in a complex organizational environment; develop close cross-group relationships with internal and external partners
- Work with Marketing Communications to manage product launch and outbound marketing on product
- Define, position, and communicate the value proposition for Enterprise markets versus competitive products
- Conduct market research, analysis, segmentation and sizing. Develop recommendations for management based on this analysis
- Provide updates and training to sales and work closely with them to develop opportunities
- Develop marketing materials and collaterals in conjunction with Marketing Communications to support the product including datasheets, presentations, case studies
- Identify key customers in target markets and work with sales on penetration strategies
About you:
- Strong communication skills, a passion for technology and customers, high energy and enthusiastic
- Ideally experience integrating a service into other platforms
- You are familiar with the Agile process
- A minimum of 5 years in product marketing and/or high technology marketing
- Prior experience with streaming media, content delivery networks and knowledge of enterprise market highly desired
- The ability to work with little direction, you are pro-active and take initiatives
- The ability to work well with people
- A proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic startup environment
- A proven track record of working across groups effectively
- Experience with ecosystem partnerships and building business relationships
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Perfect balance of technical and business skills. Ideally you have an engineering background and are able to discuss features, requirements and technologies with the engineering team
- You are a thinker but also a doer. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. (If you are interested in a pure management job, this is probably NOT the right job for you)
- You have exceptional people skills
